Solar investors choose their advocates

Prague April 3, 2011 – A group of investors in the Czech Republic’s solar energy industry has chosen Donath Business & Media (DBM) to be their public relations representatives in the next stages of their ongoing discussions with the Czech state relating to the recent dramatic and retroactive changes to the legal and regulatory framework for the solar sector. The group of companies, united through the International PhotoVoltaic Investors Club (IPVIC) has also appointed the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Glatzova & Co. to represent them in this matter.

The IPVIC companies have invested significant financial resources in the development of renewable energy in the Czech Republic. Their power installations have a combined capacity of about 100 MW. A number of additional solar power investors are in the process of joining IPVIC in the near future.
